Harness racing hits Timaru again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 1:25pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Transtasman Bubble (5) Freshened and might need a run. Could surprise if 100% fit
Knowing Me (1) Good draw and has speed. First up run was good and can improve
Schoemaker (10) Better last start and will be running on here. Top three chance in this

Race 2

Flying For Med (3) Likely to head forward to take advantage early. Top selection
Didjaseemiki(9) Has good ability but drawn wide here. Can run top three in this
Eyelinerr (10) Racing in good form and should go a strong race again here. Needed in this

Race 3

Festus Haggen(6) Manners the key at the start. He can step and run in this with. Include
Sophia’s Dreamt (10) Tidy run first up and looks capable of filling a place again. Needed
Ballygar (13) Strikes a tricky draw but on his ability looks a solid chance here. Can win

Race 4

Bet N Win(4) Raced well last campaign and should go a strong race from the mobile.
Buffy Northstains(10) Has not had much luck but has the speed to win with a soft run
Elizabeth Hill (9) Wide draw but the motor is there. Wide draw but can improve further.

Woodbine Rocks  (10) On his recent form looks a solid winning chance. Needed
Johnny Mac (7) Racing well in similar fields. Has to be respected at longer odds
Szybka Lane(6) Needs to get around with no mistakes on home track.Could surprise
 

Race 6

Major Hot (7) Big run last start in a hot field. Looks one of the better chances in this
Mighty Flying Lou (6) Cam from last to win on debut. Has to be included here
Ragazzo Major(5) Unlucky last start and only needs a good trip to show some form

Race 7

Alta Meteor (16) Good second last start and looks a major player in this. Top selection
Deceptive Lee (10) Freshened and has the speed to go close. One for longer odds
Deny Everything (3) Due to strike form again. Can run top three here at nice odds 

Race 8

Fernz Goldy (6) Draw gives her options and looks very hard to beat here if she can lead
White Star Orlando (1) Likely to lead or trail and can run top three with luck here.
Lizzie Richter(9) Good win last start but wide draw. Needs the run to suit but has claims

 Race 9

Unico Vacanza (12) Broke early last start but looks a major player in this. Top selection
Test The Boundaries (1) Ran on last start and  should improve. One for longer odds
Andy Hall (13) Raced well over Cup week and weaker field here. Can run top three  

Race 10

Cyren Shard (7) Wide draw but good enough to make her own luck. Top selection
Tide And Time (8) Goes best if powering along in front. Chance if he goes forward
Borrisokane(4) Good second last start. Top driver booked and can run top three
