Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:30pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Value:  R3  Robyns Hustler

Race 1

Practical Magic (8) Improving but will need manners early. Has raced better fields. Top selection
Trippy Tyron (9) Nice win last start and can go on with it here. Should give a good account
Monsignor (7) Conditions suit and will be fitter for fresh up fifth. Chance with a good trip

Race 2

Hogie (9) Should get a soft run on the fence. Will be a big chance with any gaps in the straight
Jayar Mac (3) Has the speed to be one of the better chances with a good run in transit. Needed
Mighty Miki (1) Improver from last start fourth and drawn to play a part. Should race handy

Race 3

Robyns Hustler (2) Disappointing last start. Top three claims from the better draw. Include
Van Liberty (9) Stable respect and pegs draw here. Will be much better this week. Needed.
Haley Robyn (1) Drawn to get a soft run in transit. Could sneak a place from the ace draw

Race 4

Crackle N Crunch (7) Galloped late last start but does have a decent motor. Could surprise here
Bettor Fortune (5) Out of form but stable respect and has been good at trials. Winning claims
Waikaka Magic (6) Has a good finish when saved for one run. Top driver booked and needed here

Race 5

Abadabado (9) Wide draw but likely to head forward. Top three chance in this if she can lead
Bill Bootit (10) Has been racing well against similar fields. Based on form he should run top three
Emily (4) Good beginner who will went well in stronger grade last start. Look for a solid run again

Race 6

Sargent Best (11) Has been unlucky on occasions and his best effort would take him close. Include
Bobbies Rock (4) Trainer respect and winning claims after a slight freshen. Can run top three
Sagwitch (1) Good beginner who has options from the draw. Might lead and has to be respected

Race 7

Flying Without Wings (7) Small field will help and going for three on end. Can work and stick on
Del’s Creation (6) Just off the placings in better fields recently. Definite top three claims in this
Samanthas Moon (3) Rolled along in front to win last start. Might try for similar tactics again here

Race 8

Pinseeker (9) Can run time and this looks a big drop in class to recent races. Top selection in this
Smoke On The Water (7) Unlucky in stronger grade two starts ago and only needs a safe start here
Deceptive Lee (1) Has been disappointing but should get a soft trip on the fence. Upset claims

Race 9

Flying Bird (9) This race looks well within her range if she gets a good trip. Winning claims with gaps
Hooroo (7) Decent motor and likely to go forward early. Hard to beat and has to be included here
Feta Go Fernco (8) Wide draw a concern but has the speed. Will continue to improve and place hope

Race 10

Terra Sancta (3) Very quick beginner and drawn to be handy all the way. Good winning claims here
Betting Sensation (4) Better than most in this field and should race handy. Can give a good account
Durrant (1) Might get a suck along in the trail and racing well from similar positions. Include here
