Harness racing hits Oamaru again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:12pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Foveaux Gambler (13) Tricky draw but has been racing better fields. Good place chance
Mark Dunnett (2) Ok last start and quick beginner. Can run top three again in this field
Millwood Indie (7) Wide draw but has gate speed. Win chance if she goes forward early

Race 2

Sheza Trendy One (4) Has been there about in her first few races. Top selection in this
Kink (5) Hasn’t had a lot of luck and can give a good sight here with manners. Include
Cosmic Angel (8) Tricky draw but good beginner. Place chance again with luck in running

Race 3

Major Cheddar (2) Disappointing in a stronger field last start. Trials good and can improve
Oh No Nana (7) Needs a good run to figure but not the worst here. Place chance at longer odds
Loch Lomond (10) Will get a cosy run on the pegs and grass suits. Could sneak a top three

Race 4

Ideal Chevron (9) Huge run last start after racing wide for the last 1000m. Winning claims
Ambleside Drive (2) Might get a run handy to the speed. One of the better chances in this
Vulunteer (7) Trainer can get them running on debut. Chance at longer odds with luck  

Race 5

Ruthless Lizzie (6) Racing well and will be finishing on here. Win chance with the right trip
Helloveamoment (2) Conditions suit and he is a chance from the nice draw in this. Include.
Slippery Mistress (4) Had excuses last start but well placed here. Chance with manners

Race 6

Lester (5) Drawn well enough and looked unlucky last start. Win chance with luck
Blue Rock Dancer (8) Good stepper and grass suits. One of the major players in this field
Kingsdown Atom (9) Going for three in a row and quick off the stand. Winning claims again

Race 7

Classie Linc (3) Good beginner who might look for the lead here. Can lead all the way
Monaco Grace (7) Has a decent reputation and should handle most of this field. Include
Kowhai Shadow (9) Tricky draw but looks capable with the right run in transit. Place hope

Race 8

She’s Tough (6) Good beginner who will appreciate the extra distance. One for longer odds
Artatac (5) Grass suits and he gets a head start on the favourites. Could surprise at longer odds
Homebush Lad (9) Off a long handicap but conditions ideal. Will be finishing fast in this

Race 9

Razors Edge (5) Tidy pacer who beat a similar field last start. Top selection in this
Nyla (7) Racing well and looks a good chance to run top three again in this. Include
Flo Motion (2) Form on the board and another who looks capable with a soft lead. Needed

Race 10

Buffy Northstains (6) Has the motor to match these and grass ideal. Top selection
Boyz Invasion (5) Not far away last start. One of the major players over the sprint trip.
Jesper Fast (1) Good beginner who should race handy. Can run top three with luck in running

Race 11

Tempo Warrior (8) Coming in fresh and has gate speed. Can go close here if he leads early
Mossdale Terry (3) Getting better with racing and a major player after the last start third.
Jimmy Steel (5) Races well on the track and grass suits. Winning claims with luck in transit
