Harness racing hits Wairio again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:35pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Wehavtime (5) Driver change and due to return to form. Will be running on in this
Scott (6) Likely to head forward early here. Ok draw and hard to beat if he leads
Mataura B B (8) Drawn wide but top driver booked. Place chance at longer odds

Race 2

On The Beach (6) Racing well in better fields and suited here. Good chance of winning
Jonjondagoosehasgone (1) Not much luck last start and draw upgrade here. Needed
Asta (10) Should get a run through from the draw. Top driver on and top three chance

Race 3

Stella Bay (4) Trialing well and only luck in running needed to go close in this. Include
Hennessy  (8) Getting better with racing. A bit one paced but not the worst in this field
Majestic Daughter (6) Manners will be the key. Has the ability and should stick on in this

Race 4

Montage (5) Drawn to be handy early. Will not need much improvement to figure here
Franco Huntington (10) Ok last start. Trailing draw might help and one of the better chances
Hit The Lights (1) Gate speed and likely early leader who could stick on for place with luck

Race 5

Bring On The Muscle (12) Good win last start. Manners needed but can run top three
Ruby Seddon  (8) Better last start and should be running on again. Winning claims
Blithe (11) Tricky draw but top driver booked. Bigger track will suit and a winning chance

Race 6

Captainshavtime (3) Ran home ok last start and weaker field here. Top selection in this
Northview Sweet (1) Driver change and might land a soft trail here. Yop three chance
It’s A Pleasure (9) Ok last start and trialed well previously. Will not be far away here

Race 7

Mr President (8) Has the motor but tricky draw here.. Good chance with a cart into it
Sky Rocket  (10) Not much luck last start and track and distance suit. Winning claims
Durrant (1) Tidy draw and a soft run is likely. Honest and can sneak into the placings

Race 8

Miki Bennett (2) Up in grade but good win last start. One of the better chances in this field
Joes Rock (7) Drawn badly but top driver booked. Will be finishing on well in this. Needed
Brookies Player (1) Did a ton of work but stuck on last start. Place again maybe from the draw

Race 9

Snap Shot (4) Impressive win on debut and has a ton of speed. Should go close to winning this
Ward Lamon (6) Freshened for this and distance suits. Has a big finish if saved for one run
Haley Jaccka (8) Drawn wide but in form Strong field but can place with luck in running
