Harness racing hits Winton again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 1:03pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Gus (4) Made a mistake on debut but ok at trials. Has to rate highly in this. Include
Bill Bootit (2) Stable hold a strong hand in the race and this one has ability. Needed
Del’s Creation (7) Needs to bring manners but the motor is there. Winning claims

Race 2

The Ladybird (9) Average for previous trainer but could be a Ferrari now. Must have
Captain Bligh (10) Big drop in class for this and drawn to get a run through early.
Rotten Rodden (2) Drawn much better and form has been ok. Needed here

Race 3

Carrera Sunset (3) Good run in a stronger field last start. Win chance back in this grade
Seabreeze Solitaire (12) Has been very consistent. Has to be respected here. Needed
Flying Bird (11) Good run fresh up but cops a tricky draw. Good enough to overcome it

Race 4

I’m Watching You (1) Only fair the last few runs but draw suits and he will be running on.
Fireforefiddle (4) Big track will suit his style here. Winning claims if he can get handy
Wonthavtime (3) Should be nearing peak fitness and drawn to be competitive here. Include

Race 5

Dont Ask (6) Has won here in the past and capable of beating this field with luck. Good chance
Dwindle Star (7) Good beginner who was unlucky last start. Has to be a top three player here
Ruby Seddon (5) Good draw and should get a cosy run in transit. One of the major chances

Race 6

Tennessee Honey (5) New trainer and will start favourite regardless of form. Can’t ignore
Morries Girl (9) Tricky draw but trainer strike rate says she has a 50/50 chance of winning. 
Boarding Call (4) Ok last start and has gate speed. One of the better chances over the sprint

Race 7

Glaucus (10) Drawn ok and and looked impressive at trials. Top selection in this field
Repetitive (7) Better for the fresh up fourth. Top driver booked and can go close
Tuneinsportsfans (4) Building impressive form and looks a solid place chance again.

Race 8

Jovial Jay (14) Tricky draw but if the pace is on he will be running on late. Can win
Life Of Art (7) Wide draw but tidy win last start. He can go on with it here. Needed
Rakadan (12) Raced well against a strong field last start. Good chance back in grade for this

Race 9

Treacherous Gall (9) Tricky handicap but smaller field will help. Top selection with her speed
Play Philly (8) Should be fit enough after recent placings. Can run top three with luck
With A Bang (6) Good run in higher class last start. Might go close with the right trip
