Harness racing hits Winton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 2:56pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Bet:  R4  Vinita Rose

Best Value:  R7  Hot Saucy Betty

Race 1

Without Comparison (11) Has form on the board and looks hardest to beat. Needed
Get Along (4) Normally reliable and will appreciate being back on grit. Good chance here
Styrax (7) Manners the key and could surprise if she gets the start right. One for odds

Race 2

Frankie (5) Weaker field and top driver booked. Could be too good for them here
Baltic Star (6) Draw hurts but will race close to the speed. One of the better chances
Demi Darling (9) Getting fitter and would be one for longer odds if handy on the turn

Race 3

Mixed Faith (4) Conditions suit here and distance ideal. Good chance in this
MC Squared (1) Has not had all the luck but has form and ideal draw. Include here
Blithe (6) Mobile and distance will suit. Finished on last start and could surprise 

Race 4

Vinita Rose (1) On her recent form looks a solid winning chance. Top selection in this
Remission (5) Big run for second last start. Good winning chance here with a sit
Sunshine Moment (4) Back in form and could carry on with it now. Has to be included

Race 5

Durrant (6) Has raced well in better fields than this. One of the better chances
Emerald Abbey (13) Draw hurts and will need luck in the running. Good place chance
Sherwood Maggie (8) Tough draw but has speed and could go close with the right run  

Race 6

Mighty Miki (11) Big run for second last start and should go close here. Top selection
Zamperini (12) Has looked quite speedy at trials and stable respect. Has to be included
My Rocky Romance (3) First starter good enough to place in this. Will not be far away

Race 7

Hot Saucy Betty (3) Flashed home last start and looks a solid winning chance here. Needed
Sally Lindenny (5) Going for two in a row and manners the only concern. Include where
Aroha Kenny (11) Tidy win in a similar field at Omakau. Can go back to back with luck

Race 8

Aardie B Miki (3) Easy win at Roxburgh. Should be the hardest to beat. Top selection
Flying Bird (6) Has a big finish and should be thereabouts with a good trip. Winning claims
Millwood Indie (5) Better last start and a good chance here. Should be improved for this

Race 9

Itoje (6) Racing well and has a reputation. Should go close to making it three in a row
Tayla Me (10) Racing ok and conditions suit. Can run top three with a late finish again
Wattlebank Arnie (5) Drawn to get a good run close to the speed. Even field but can place

Race 10

Fusion Reactor (3) Canterbury raider who should go close to winning this. Top selection
Jenny Gump (4) Has raced ok in similar fields. Gate speed to lead and trail in this. Needed
Magnetic Beckers (14) Bad draw but a chance at longer odds if he gets handy to the leaders
