Harness racing hits Winton again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Justine Jaccka (5) Manners letting her down recently. Can get some money with no mistakes
Groovy L’Amour (3) Has run some good races but needs to step early. Good top three chance
George The First (8) Racing ok and reliable early. One for longer odds in this field

Race 2

Tabasco (5) Raced well against quality opposition last start. Top selection in this field
Teddy Baker (1) Likely to receive a good run on the pegs. Can run top three here
Donald Trot (8) Slight concern with the draw but has ability. Place hope at longer odds

Race 3

Sherwood Maggie (7) Impressive run for second last start. Has gate speed. Include
Maxwell Robyn (6) Disappointing the last couple but better than that. Place chance
Full Of Desire (1) Down from Canterbury and should get a good run in transit. Can surprise

Race 4

Vin Scully (1) Good formline and best draw for some time. Capable of beating this field
Robyns Shadow (6) Drops in class for this. Improving and has winning claims
Jonique (7) Tricky draw but racing ok and has speed. Could surprise with the right run

Race 5

Captain Bligh (2) Has been impressive at trials. Looks the early leader and hard to beat
Mydadtheterror (6) Yop driver back on for this. Will be running on and has winning claims
Bobbies Rock (4) Likely to go forward early. Manners needed but strong chance here

Race 6

Sioux Princess (9) One of the better chances if she can step early. One of the major players.
Andiamo (3) Likely early leader here who could lead for a long way. One for longer odds
Love N The Port (10) Big on ability but coming in fresh and tough handicap. Needed

Race 7

Ideal Prince (8) Underrated pacer coming in fresh. Hard to beat here with luck in running
Franco Huntington (1) Good beginner who should get the right run on the pegs. Needed
Sargent Best (3) Canterbury raider who has good form at Addington. Good chance in this

Race 8

Tara Victory (1) Top draw and top driver in the sulky. One of the major players in this field
Melody Arden (12) Has looked ok at trials and travels a long way for this. Winning claims
Vita Veloce (6) Has a bit of gate speed and getting fitter. Can go close to top three here

Race 9

La Rosa  (7) Classy mare coming in fresh. Trialled ok and hard to beat in this field
Cloudy Bay (8) Stable is flying but tricky draw. Could surprise with the right run in transit
Mogul (5) Racing ok and will go forward early. Can run a cheeky race against this field
