Harness racing hits Winton again today with six races on the card. The racing starts at 2.28pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Lime In A Bottle (2) Risky from a stand but will go close with no mistakes. Top selection
Torquay Street (4) Getting better with racing and improver here. Winning claims here
Miles Away (5) Trialling ok and respect the stable. Can run into the placings with manners

Race 2

Tuneinsportsfans (6) Conditions suit and drawn to race handy. One of the better chances
Okiwi Bay (5) Has been racing stronger fields and suited here. Could surprise with luck
Sea Fury (3) Another racing stronger fields. Back in a winnable race here. Include

Race 3

Rustenburg (6) Big win last start and should go on with it. Major player with a good trip
Fernleigh Blackbird (4) Stable change for this and very speedy. Has to be included here
Lou’s Deal (2) Has been racing well and should race handy. Place chance from the draw

Race 4

Hes Santas Excuse (1) Likely to get crossed at the start. Chance with gaps in the straight
Ellz Angel (5) Out of form but better than that. Only need a safe beginning to show her best
Sherwood Maggie (7) Consistent form the last four runs. Can run top three again here

Race 5

Forever Arden (7) Has looked very good at trials. Opened over the odds and good chance
Franco Sailor (9) Fence draw and requires luck. Should give a good account in this
Coaster (3) Ran time when second here last start. Can run top three with a similar effort

Race 6

Gift Card (6) Nice win the last start. Good chance if she gets a good trip. Needed
Mad Jack (4) Manners the key with this one. Winning claims in this field if he trots
Make My Sundon (5) Quick beginner who might be the leader here. One for longer odds

Race 7

Major Envy (10) Nice second the last start. Should be improved for this. Needed here
Miki’s Beauty (3) No form but down in grade for this. Needs the right trip but can win
Kawatiri Creek (7) Good run last start. Improved effort takes her close to the placings.

Race 8

Life Of Art (7) Has been freshened but form is good. Major player in this. Top selection
Nutcracker (6) Good finish last start. Stand will suit and can run top three with luck
Victor Bravo (5) Comes down from racing strong Canterbury fields. Not the worst in this

Race 9

Majestic Whisper (2) Speedy mare and manners only concern here. Plenty of gear changes
Kohli Trouble (4) In good form and should run a handy race again. Top three player
Sally Lindenny (3) Has been honest the last few runs and another good chance again today

Race 10

Mamma Mia (2) Missed the start last time out but fast mare who can find form quickly
Jenny Gump (6) Good beginner and can’t ignore the handy form. Top three player again
American Mac (7) Gate speed but out of form. At his best would be hard to beat here.
