Harness racing hits Winton again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 3:16pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R5   The Wulver

Race 1

Happy Hill  (1) Stable respect and has trialled well. Good chance but will need manners
Madison’s Moon (4) Plenty of speed and looks one of the better chances. Needed here
Hennessy (6) Conditions suit and running on well for second last start. Place again here

Race 2

Robyns Hustler (2) Nearly won last start and drawn to go close again here. Include
Haley Robyn (1) Has the gate speed to be one of front runners. Should give a sight
Artmore (4) Improver from her last start and drawn to play a part. Can run top three

Race 3

Son Of The Cleaner (1) Freshened and top driver jumps on. Top three claims with manners
Bill Bootit (6) Did too much work in the running last start. Will be much better this week.
Hot Saucy Betty (4) Freshened and has been good at workouts. Chance with a quick start

Race 4

Mighty Miki (1) Good run for second last start and drawn well again here. Big chance
Ultimate Weapon (8) Wide draw but at his best could run into the top three. Needed in this
Racie Dale (2) Coming in fresh but has been ok at workouts. Has top three claims here

Race 5

The Wulver (4) Likely to head forward and top driver stays on. Looks a good win chance
Sargent Best (6) Has raced well against similar fields. Wide draw but should give a sight
Hazer (3) Running on ok last start and well drawn here. Look for a better run in this field

Race 6

Tomcat (2) Tidy win on debut and only needs a similar effort go close here. Top selection
Muchacho (8) Trainer respect and wide draw the only concern. Place claims in this
First Light (9) Freshened and has a big motor. Win chance but will need luck from the draw

Race 7

Still Rockin (7) Tricky draw but tough and might go forward. Can do some work in transit
Deny Everything (8) Wide draw but has the best record in this. Should be right in the finish
Rightazz (2) Should get a run through early. Mobile will be in his favour. Can run top three

Race 8

Julie Jaccka (8) Can run time and at her best would dominate here. Top selection here
Rata (5) Running on last start and only needs a safe start to be a threat. Winning claims
Gift Card (3) Getting better with racing and seems reliable. Top driver on again in this

Race 9

Bowlem Over (9) Racing better fields and fence draw might suit. Top three chance with gaps
Jovial Jay (1) Decent motor and likely to go forward early. In good form and hard to beat
On The Wing (2) Freshened and showed ability last campaign. One of the better chances
