Harness racing hits Cromwell again today with ten races on the card . The racing starts at 2:48pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Top Pocket Chance (6) In good form for this. Should race handy and can go close here
Hillary (1) Front row draw will help and only a soft run to be a threat. Needed from the ace
Miki’s Beauty (4) Getting better with racing and ok run last start. Place chance again here

Race 2

Mass Disruption (4) Did well after breaking on debut. Needs manners but good chance
Annrose (5) Trial winner who is on debut. Has claims if she runs up to her trial form
Jay Bee Hill (2) Drawn to race near the speed. Top three chance here if he steps cleanly

Race 3

Nana’s Little Terror (2) Finished on well last start and conditions suit here. Good chance
Adamas (4) Ok last start and winning claims with a good run in transit. Trainer respect
Babe On The Beach (7) Good effort last start rushing home late. Can sneak a top three

Race 4

Penny Weight (2) Out of form but at her best would go close in this. Goes best when leading
Pounamu (10) Better run last start and top driver booked. Should give a good account in this
Franco Tim (11) Got home nicely last start at Motukarara. Likely to be running on again

Race 5

Eurokash (5) Driver change for this and has been racing well. Grass suits and has claims
Jimmy Carter (6) It is all about the start with him. Good each way chance with manners
Imperial Man (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip.

Race 6

The Orange Roughy (8) In a rich vein of form and only concern is wide draw. Hard to beat
Bismarck Du Plessis (6) Not too bad last start and should go on with it here. Place claims
Sargent Best (10) At his best would be a chance has won on the track. Respect at long odds

Race 7

Deceptive Lee (4) Can run time and drawn well. Has raced top fields and should go close
Quinn (6) Rated highly by the trainer. Might need to be put in the race to show his best
Light Me Up (5) Checked and galloped last start. Speedy once underway and needed here

Race 8

Miraculous (5) Grass debut but trainer respect. Will be hard to beat in any conditions
Tokyo Rose (3) Goes well on grass and in good form for this. Can go close to placing
Tempo Warrior (2) Good beginner who is consistent. Top three chance from the draw

Race 9

Florence The Machine (9) Better than the form suggests. Needs manners but can upset
Son Of The Cleaner (4) Decent motor and finished on last start. One of the better chances
Our Pinocchio (13) Will continue to improve and place hopes again with luck in running

Race 10

Secret Agent Man (5) Hasa  reputation and looks hard to beat against this lot. Top selection
Franco Humbie (3) Good draw and better than most in this field. One for longer odds
Tuneinsportsfans (2) Nice win last start and can do some work mid race. Early leader here
