Harness racing hits Cromwell again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Judicate (5) Good second on day one and can go one better with luck in the running. Include
Majesdix (4) Manners not great but has plenty of speed. Can run top three here with no mistakes
Indurain (6) Another with a big motor but a 50/50 chance of stepping away cleanly. Can win

Race 2

Donald Trot (3) Ok run for third last start and comes up with a similar draw. Hard to beat
Better Be Watching (11) Has been disappointing last few races but cam improve here. Chance
Matai Charlotte (5) Conditions suit and she goes better on speed. Can surprise if she finds the front

Race 3

Our Pinocchio (5) Looks a good chance in this field and only needs manners to figure strongly here.
Dwindle Star (1) Should get a cosy run on the pegs. Good run day one and should run top three
Justine Jaccka (4) Good run for third after breaking on the first day. Place claims here with manners

Race 4

Hit The Lights (8) Nice finish on day one and will go forward early. Has to rate highly in this field
Tuneinsportsfans (15) Better last start and can run top three here with a similar run in transit
Always Smokin (10) Drawn to get a run through early and good here on Friday. Top three chance

Race 5

Nyla (2) Ok on day one from a similar draw. Looks hard to beat in this field if she backs up
Jonique (4) Led easily last start and stuck on ok. Could do the same again here. Needed
Hes Santas Excuse (9) Has a good finish when saved for one run. Look for him running home late

Race 6

Vertigo (5) Got the win last start and can go close again here. Top selection in this field
Maui (7) Ran home late on day one and should go a similar race today. Can win with luck
Cody Banner (2) Goes well on the track and should get a run through early. Always a chance

Race 7

Kingsdown Atom (2) Good run first day and drawn much better. Hard to beat with the right trip
Kilauea (4) Has run some good races on grass and can run a better race today. Include in this
Mo’unga (1) Galloped the first day but was good after. Winning chance here with better manners

Race 8

Sand Wave (9) Looks a drop in class for him here and he should run top three. Needed
Franco Norton (8) Big win on day one after galloping early. Hard to beat again today
Better’s Tart (7) Racing ok and should back up well. Can run a cheeky race against this field

Race 9

Asian Elvis (9) Ran a good second here last start and should get a soft run through. Needed
Gotta Elect Bill (8) Tricky draw to work with but suits grass. Strong field but winning claims
Major Fire (1) Easy win last start and better draw for this. Could surprise in this field

Race 10

I’m Watching You (2) Plenty of ability and grass suits. Can go close to making three straight.
Captain Starlight (4) Better draw and could be the early leader in this. One of the better chances
Joanie Magic (3) Did everything right last start for a tidy second. Can run a decent race. Include
