Harness racing hits Wyndham again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 3:15pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Styrax (8) Plenty of ability and only need s to trot all the way to be hard to beat. Top selection
Brother Johnson (2) Ok run last start and getting fitter. One of the better chances in this field
Joe Kennedy (4) On debut and has been ok at workouts. Could surprise here with manners

Race 2

Saucy Delight (3) Stable hard to beat with their first starters. Workout winner so needed here
Vintage Miki (2) Well drawn and has the speed to be one of the early leaders. Good chance
Here’s Johny (7) Galloped last start but has raced in better fields. Top three chance with manners

Race 3

Justanothersip (3) Raced ok in stronger fields. Freshened and should go close here from the draw
Always A Menace (1) Gets conditions to suit. Might get a soft fence run and has winning claims
Ledger’s Maid (5) Has been a bit unlucky but late speed could get her into the placings. Include

Race 4

Montage (1) Top driver booked and drawn best here. One for longer odds on a probable wet track
Robyns Hustler (11) Fitter now and only needs a cart into the race to be a top three chance
I’m Watching You (2) Better run last start and will be improved. Top three chance at nice odds

Race 5

Remission (6) Big motor and will go forward early. winning claims if she can find the front
The Wulver (5) Has raced well against similar fields. Gate speed and will be put in the race.
No Perfect Princess (3) Driver respect and will be improved. Will handle the rise in grade here

Race 6

Monarch Prince (5) Last start was good and should go close to top three again here. Top selection
Emily (7) Good manners and conditions will suit here. Top three player again with luck in running
Bill Bootit (2) Always around the top three or four. Can give cheek here with a fast beginning

Race 7

Flying Bird (7) Freshened and wide draw to contend with. Gate speed and might go forward early
Jovial Jay (2) Tidy third last start and a good winning chance from the handy draw. Include here
Major Medley (10) Second row draw but good enough to make his own luck. Winning claims

Race 8

Rata (5) Beat a similar field here last start. Has a big finish and wet track will suit. Go again
Aveross Majesty (7) Galloped last start in a strong field. Good track stats and chance at odds
Majestic Love (8) Looks a big improver and solid top three claims with a good run in transit
 

Race 9

Dreams Are Free (8) Resuming and possibly the best horse in Southland. Will start at short odds
Brookies Player (6) Decent motor and normally holds form. Top three claims again here
Insarchatwist (2) Ok run last start. Will continue to improve and wet track suits. Place claims
