Harness racing hits Cromwell again today with 13 races on the card. The racing starts at 1:15pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Carmen Lucia (10) Running home well late at Roxburgh. Should run top three here with manners
What’s The Whisper (9) Better run last start and more improvement to come. Stable respect here
Eragon (8) Getting better with racing and only needs manners to be a top three chance. One for odds

Race 2

Enoka (2) Has had exucses the last couple and easier here. Good EW hope and top selection for us
Mighty Flying Miki (4) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Hard to beat
Brother Rob (12) Improver from her last start and placed on grass. Top three chance with luck

Race 3

Cinderella Franco (2) Looked good winning last start and should go back to back with a good trip
Burnham Girl (7) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Include
Franco Seb (1) Good effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three again here

Race 4

Our Twinkle (6) Solid pair of seconds last couple and wide draw the only concern. Will start short
Crackasky (2) Has gate speed and racing in good form for this. Should give a good account again
Cash Is King (5) Out of form but a place chance at longer odds after a change of stable. Roughy

Race 5

Diedre Franco (1) Opened over the odds and grass suits. Top selection in this from the draw
Mode (2) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance with a soft trip
Gasherbrum (8) Will be fitter after last start where he finished well. Will be running on late here

Race 6

Betterthandiva (6) Did too much work last start. Can run a cheeky race at odds with the right trip
Ramblin Rover (3) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance from the draw
Ultimate Perfection (14) Tricky draw but will be getting home well in this. One to boost exotics

Race 7

Major Fear (7) Good against a similar field last start after sitting parked. Driver change. Needed
Jaccka Jim (9) Won his maiden last start quite easily but this is harder. Can take the step up here
Sheila Laxon (3) Comfortable win at Roxburgh last start. Needs manners but can go close again

Race 8

Seaside Croft (7) Beaten by a good one last start and will be fitter. Wide draw but will press forward
Crackle N Crunch (6) Decent motor and dangerous with one run at them. One of the better chances
Rakamick (2) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here from the draw

Race 9

One Mhor For Heather (5) Goes best in front and might try for an all the way win. Go again here
Torquay Street (1) Good beginner who is drawn well here. Each way claims at longer odds. Needed
Nubliah Chamay (11) Conditions suit for this and she has a good record on grass tracks. Include

Race 10

Franco Sinatra (14) Has raced well in better fields. Tricky handicap and will need luck but is tough.
Deny Everything (9) Wide draw but better than most in this field. Has to be respected at good odds
Still Rockin (3) Goes best in front and can do some work mid race. Could surprise if he find the lead

Race 11

Hidden Talent (13) Has been unlucky and grass suits. Top selection but tricky handicap to overcome
Domination’s Call (3) Better than the form suggests. Will be running on well here at longer odds.
Maui (10) Uncharacteristic break last start but much better suited here. One of the better chances

Race 12

Insarchatwist (9) Has been unlucky and big chance back on her preferred surface. Top selection in this.
Tua Lipa (1) Nice draw and likely to go forward early. Should give a good account from the ace. Include
Munroe’s Mate (10) Won well last start and not the worst if he can push around to the front. Include

Race 13

Transonic (5) Keeps stepping up and can be driven aggressively now. First go on grass but needed here
Jaccka Evan (1) Good draw for a cozy run on the pegs. Should be there abouts from a trailing position
Blaze Lightening (4) Likely to race close to the speed here. One of the better chances in good form
