Harnesslink’s CEO, John Curtin, is excited to unveil his latest North American tour for harness racing fanatics looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Having previously led successful tour groups over a decade ago, a recent visit inspired Curtin to recast his Harnesslink tour group in the rapidly changing and expanding North American market.
The October tour will encompass a VIP harness racing experience with every aspect of the North American harness racing industry covered. From yearling sales, to stud farms, stakes racing to tourist destinations, the Harnesslink North American Harness Racing Experience will see you soaking up all the thrills and spills on offer over an epic 28 days.
John Curtin has tapped into his extensive North American knowledge and network developed over 40 years of brokering some of the biggest standardbred transactions in the industry. Few know the North American scene as well as JC and it his dream and vision to share the experience with harness racing followers from Down Under who have long dreamed of ticking North America off the harness racing bucket list.
At this stage, bookings will be limited to the first 20 individuals/partners to ensure the experience is that of a VIP.
All travel/accommodation arrangements and farm/track visits will be taken care of by Harnesslink and its wonderful travel agent of over 30 years allowing you the comfort and peace of mind to fully soak in the experience.
The below itinerary is preliminary and subject to minor changes, but this is what those interested parties can expect from the once in a lifetime opportunity.

- Departure from Auckland Sunday night for Houston, stopover, then onto:
- Cincinnati, Ohio airport, then by Bus to Lexington Hotel. Arrival at Lexington Hotel around 1:30 am Monday 2nd October.
2nd of October through to Monday morning the 9th of October
- Lexington Selected Yearling Sale at Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion, every day, Monday to Friday.
- Major Stake Racing at the Red Mile – 6th, 7th, 8th, Starting at 1 pm each day. (Sales continue at night)
4th October
- VIP Tour of Diamond Creek Farm, Lexington, Kentucky.
- Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.
5th October
- VIP Tour of Kentuckiana Farms, Lexington, Kentucky.

10th October
Visit Premier Acres stud farm then onto Berlin, Ohio, the capital of Amish Country, afternoon to Berlin, Ohio Hotel.
11th & 12th October

13th October through to 16th October
- Early morning bus to Toronto hotel from Berlin, Ohio.
