Impressive draft of weanlings from Alabar

This year, Alabar are selling 40 weanlings at the weanling harness racing sale to be held at Karaka on 26th May 2022.

Alabar will be parading their full consignment at Karaka the day before the sale (Woodlands will be parading their weanlings prior to the Alabar parade). Woodlands weanlings will also be available onsite at Karaka on the Tuesday afternoon.

So the important dates and times are:

Alabar Weanlings at Karaka: Early afternoon Tuesday 24 May

Alabar Weanling Parade at Karaka: Wednesday 25 May at 3pm

Weanling Sale: Thursday 26 May commencing 12pm

This year’s consignment includes 15 by outstanding sire Art Major and 6 each by NZ’s champion trotting sire, Majestic Son, the rising star Always B Miki and Vincent.

Alabar also have the first weanlings to sell by the world champion 2yo son of Captaintreacherous, Captain Crunch. They have 4 of his weanlings in the sale out of some lovely mares – they’re quality types.
