Improving trotting filly Luby Lill (What The Hill) impressively turned the tables on harness racing stablemate Ordained tonight at Alexandra Park.
Two weeks agoĀ Luby Lill ran second to the Father Patrick gelding Ordained, but tonight was too strong, leading all the way in a 2-02.2 mile rate over the mobile 1700m event.
Driver Brent Mangos was in the sulky again tonight behind Luby Lill, for trainer Tony Herlihy who trained the first three home in the race.
It was a good result for Breckon Farms who were the sponsor for tonight’s $11,370 Breckon Farms 2YO Trot and also a good result for Woodlands Stud who stand Luby Lill’s sire What The Hill.

By winning tonight’s race, Luby Lill gave What The Hill his first winner in New Zealand.
What The Hill is a champion son of top trotting sire Muscle Hill and a $1.3 million earner in his own right and his two year old’s are also currently doing very well in North America.
Luby Lill trotted the 1700m in 2-09.1 which equated to a mile rate of 2-02.2. She trotted the last 800m in 59 seconds.
