Inter Dominion nominations close

The nominations for the 2021 Inter Dominion close on Monday at noon AEST.

The series, held in conjunction with Harness Racing New South Wales and Club Menangle starts with heats at Menangle on November 27.

Further heats are scheduled for Bathurst on December 1 and Newcastle on December 5 before the Grand Finals on December 11 at Menangle. Club Menangle

Racing Manager David Wonson said there are plans in place if, however, COVID restrictions are still in place.

“The contingency plan is that all heats will be run at Menangle if there are still COVID restrictions in place at the time,” said Wonson.

There are some New Zealand horses amongst those that are already nominated for the series, however, Sunshine Sprint winner Copy That will not be aimed at the Inter Dominion with connections aiming him at next year’s Miracle Mile instead.
