Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 11:52am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Value:  R7  Jenny Gump

Race 1

Bill Bootit (1) Manners an issue but big chance if he steps away cleanly. Include here
Del’s Creation (7) Has been producing some good efforts and strikes a weaker field. Good chance
Shooosh (3) Drawn well and looks stronger this time in. Can run into the placings

Race 2

The Coalman (2) Need the run at Addington and much better here. Top selection and should go close
Arnies Army (5) Racing well and only needs luck to be right in the finish here. Top three hope
Mighty Reactor (9) Robbed last start and should have won. Stand a concern but can win with luck

Race 3

Frisky Styx (11) Big win on debut and can handle the rise in grade. Up to winning this with luck
Magnetic Beckers (3) Has been disappointing but better than that. Not the worst at longer odds
Castelo De Vide (5) Good second last start and likely to press forward. Distance will suit. Include

Race 4

Onwardsandupwards (6) Has the best form in the field and is the top selection in this field. Due
Misskcmack (10) Drawn second line and change of trainer. At her best would go close here
Chemmy (4) Better last start. Needs the right trip but has claims with a good run in transit

Race 5

Galleons Future (7) Racing well in stronger fields. Good beginner suited in this field. Needed
Ruby Seddon (4) Will race on the speed and looks a good chance of running top three
Dem Bones Dem Bones (1) Has been racing in Canterbury. Chance if she stays handy early

Race 6

Verlander (13) Has to be respected from the stable and trials have been ok. Needed
Stillyourshot (2) Been good at trials. Top three chance from the inside draw. Include
Maverick Star (4) Has been racing well and a chance of leading early. Needs luck but can win

Race 7

Jenny Gump (10) Big run in a better field last start. Has the speed to be a winning chance here
The Jafa Express (7) Wide draw but could grind his way forward. Top three hope if he can lead
Four Starzzz Shiraz (4) Out of form but getting fitter. Will be running on in this. Could surprise

Race 8

Majestic Love (8) In good form and can go on with it in this field. Top selection here
Our Golden Kenny (11) Coming back after a break and is classy. Has trailed ok and can win fresh
Miss Jessica (5) Likely to run to the front and keep rolling. Can run top three here with no attackers

Race 9

Rightazz (6) Building up slowly to a win. One of the major players in this field. Needed
Quaddie VC (5) Out of form but has gate speed and a chance at longer odds if the pace is on
American Mac (1) Racing well and should get a soft fence run. Top three chance in this
