Jim Dalgety has passed away aged 88

It is with great sadness that Harnesslink can advise that Jim (James Scott) Dalgety who had a life in harness racing as a breeder, owner, trainer, driver and stud master has passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

A doyen of harness racing, Jim Dalgety was a walking encyclopaedia of harness racing knowledge, who has passed on his exceptional training ability to son Cran Dalgety a prominent Canterbury harness racing trainer.
