On Tuesday September 15 at Monticello Raceway, harness racing driver Jimmy Marohn Jr. entered the winners circle for his 3000th win. The milestone came aboard Reflection Of Blue in the fourth race, the Bettor's Delight Gelding out of the top mare Rainbow Blue is trained by Bill Devine for owner Anthony Mazzeo of Hewlett NY.
He is the son of longtime Yonkers and Roosevelt driver James Marohn. The affable Jim Marohn Jr. has been a leading driver at Monticello and Tioga for the last few years.
In the winners circle following the race, Marohn said “I thought I would have been here earlier in the card, as I had some good mounts, but it didn’t work out”
