Canterbury harness racing trainer Mark Jones has experienced racehorses and some fresh faces in the mix for Addington tomorrow (Thursday) night.
In the first race Jones lines up Kowhai Sunset (Creatine) whoās come south from the Wallis/Hackett stable. He last raced at the end of last year and Jones has taken the four year old to three trials since heās been in the south.
Tres Bonne Fille (Vincent) and Tact Teena (Bettorās Delight) are his two in Race Four – the Woodlands Stud Two Year Old Fillies Mobile Pace.
Tres Bonne Fille has been to four trials and gets a nice draw to play with at one.
The royally bred Tact Teena has been to two workouts and one trial. At her last trial at Rangiora on the 6th of September she was finishing on nicely.
In Race Nine the Burnham trainer lines up Major Torque (Art Major). He won a trial before resuming and ran sixth at Addington thirteen days ago. The three year old draws wide at nine.
The stable has a couple of runners in the last, Race Ten. In a very competitive event Willison (Bettorās Delight) gets a great draw to play with at two. At his last start he got run down late by Kiwi Hero which had a better run. Willison has had two starts from the stand for two minor placings.
Jones second runner The Coalman (Pet Rock) draws the outside of the front row and has an excellent record from the stand, winning four of his thirteen starts with three other minor placings.
