Talented Changeover gelding Kash Us Back sent his stake earnings over the $100,000 plateau when he scored a thrilling last-stride win in harness racing’s $25,500 Regional Championships State Consolation at Menangle on Saturday night (May 29).
It was the five-year-old 15th lifetime success.
Changeover, who stands at Burwood Stud on Queenslandās Darling Downs, was represented by winners in three different countries last week.
Other Australian winners sired by him were the Albion Park winner Raani (1:58.3), Power Stride NZĀ (1:55.9, Newcastle), Soho Beijing (1:56.9, Wagga), Changingoftheguard (Northam) and Presidentialchange (1:58.8, Mount Gambier).
In New Zealand, the Changeover three-year-old Tedās Legacy notched his second success at Addington, while in North America, the NZ bred mare Glenferrie Bronte won in 1:52.8 at Scioto Downs, Ohio.
Through the end of May 2021 Changeover has sired the winners of almost $16 million.
