Harness racing trainer Katie Cox is yet to train a winner at the Ashburton Raceway and on Sunday (Sep. 3) she’s hoping to change that when she takes four runners to the Mid-Canterbury circuit.

First starter Lottie’s Moment (Majestic Son) is set to run in Race Two, for two year old trotters. Her pedigree includes Take A Moment (Armbro Invasion) the winner of two Dominion Handicaps, a Rowe Cup and an Interdominion Trotters Final. Lottie’s Moment has been to three workouts and two trials, winning her last trial at Rangiora on the 16th August to qualify.

Seacracka (Downbytheseaside) represents the stable in Race Three. She’s had three starts for two thirds. In her last start at Rangiora she ran third but didn’t get clear in the home straight.

In Race Five Katie trains and drives Tide And Time (Somebeachsomewhere). At Rangiora in his last start the four year old got swamped late, finishing fifth. He’s drawn barrier six over 1700 metres on Sunday.

Monsignor (Father Patrick) has good form on the board. He won on debut and came home late at his last start at Addington last week. Katie has labelled Monsignor as her best bet.
