Lenny first to qualify for Inter Dominion

Victorian harness racing star Lennytheshark is officially the first qualifier for the Inter Dominion.

Lennytheshark sealed his berth in the TAB.com.au sponsored Final be capturing the Melton heat just moments ago.

The $750,000 Inter Dominion is scheduled to be conducted at Tabcorp Park Menangle on March 1.

Driven by premier reinsman Chris Alford, the son of Four Starzzz Shark led throughout from barrier three to account for Flaming Flutter and Im Corzin Terror.

Thrilled with the five-year-old’s performance, trainer David Aiken is confident Lennytheshark can make his presence felt in the Final.

“A lot will come down to the draw, but he will prove more than competitive,” Aiken said.

“After three runs back he is in top shape and will be spot on for the Final.”

Lennytheshark is no stranger to top shelf glory at Menangle having captured the New South Wales Derby in 2013.
