Dr Kath McIntosh began work as a veterinarian in 2009 under the banner of Northern Rivers Veterinary Clinic and in 2017, after the growth of the clinic, the stud component of the business was birthed under the banner of Llowalong Farms.
Both entities continue to grow and flourish with Kathās unique skillset and knowledge combined with the drive and passion to grow the harness racing industry.
The 2024 Nutrien Melbourne Yearling Sale will see Llowalong Farms offer, either under their own name or in conjunction with clients, nine yearlings ā six fillies and three colts.
Not content with that workload, Kath and her staff will also be preparing a further 13 yearlings for other vendors.
Llowalong Farms own roster of stallions, which includes the likes of American Ideal, Pastor Stephen, Yankee Rockstar, Poster Boy, Soho Tribeca, and Lather Up, will be well represented and supported by yearlings by the superstar sire Bettors Delight, that stallionās son Tall Dark Stranger and the champion European trotter Bold Eagle.

Lot 232, on account of Llowalong Farms is bred on the Golden Cross being a colt by Bettors Delight from the unraced Christian Cullen mare Gentle Anvil.
This colt is a full brother to the 2023 Nutrien 2yo Sales Classic winner The Bigboss whose three 2yo wins garnered $126,694 in stakes.
This colt is also a full-brother to Gentle Giant which has won 15 races and $143,110.
Lot 312, on account of Lauriston Bloodstock, is a colt by Bettors Delight from the Art Major mare Queen Of Pop which won a 2yo Australian Pacing Gold final on her way to $204,527 in stakes.
This colt is a full-brother to Bathurst Gold Tiara winner Just Hope which is just one of 107 winners bred on this cross. That list includes 35 $100,000 earners headed by superstar Leap To Fame p,1:48.3 $2,765,957 and Max Delight p,1:50.0 $1,023,924.
He is also eligible for the New Zealand Sires Stakes.
Lot 182, being offered by Lauriston Bloodstock , is from the Sweet Lou mare Arden Ubeaut. This is the first foal from the unraced Arden Ubeaut but she is a half-sister to ten winners including Victoria Cup winner Bettors Strike and Group One 2yo filly winner Ardens Choice.
This Bettors Delight colt is also eligible for the New Zealand Sires Stakes.
Lauriston Bloodstock will also offer Lot 345 which is a colt by Captain Crunch from the unraced Rocknroll Hanover mare The Vicars Daughter which ranks as a half-sister to millionaire pacer Stunin Cullen.
Captain Crunchās first Australian crop began racing as 2yos this year and he is already the sire of three 2yo winners while The Vicars Daughters only living foal of racing age was the 2023 3yo winner The Vicar Of Dibley which won four times last season.
Lauriston Bloodstock are also offering Lot 355 which is the second foal from the unraced Captaintreacherous mare Vegas Diamond.
Lot 355 is a colt by Fear The Dragon and Vegas Diamond is a full-sister to 2yo Australasian Breeders Crown winner School Captain which took a record of 1:52.5 as a 2yo and has won $195,952.
The grand-dam of Lot 355 is a half-sister to Australian 3yo Colt/Gelding Pacer of the Year Poster Boy.
