Canterbury trainer Mark Jones takes a team of seven horses to Addington Raceway tomorrow night, two of which will run in the McMillan Equine Feeds NZ Junior Drivers Championship.

Jones’ night gets underway in Race Three with What The Bell (What The Hill). At his last start the four year old gelding broke when coming up the Ascot Park passing lane and was disqualified.

Tokyo Rose (Captaintreacherous) takes her place in Race Four. The four year old mare who has lots of gate speed draws seven on the front row.

The Coalman (Pet Rock) and Tempo Warrior (A Rocknroll Dance) will start in Race Five.

The Coalman who’ll be driven by Zev Meredith is expected to be improved after finishing eleventh when resuming last week.

Kerryn Tomlinson drives Tempo Warrior. He draws the outside of the front row but as a nine win horse he’s in a grade in which he’s expected to be competitive.

Two year old Strikem (Art Major) gets a nice marble in Race Nine. In three starts he’s shown improvement.

Jones is currently looking after the Trevor Proctor trained Tact McLeod (Sweet Lou) which will line up against some talented pacers in Race Ten. The five year old draws the outside of the front row for the 2600 metre stand.
