Mark Jones talks Kaikoura – Sunday

Two days of harness racing action kicks off at the stunning South Bay Racecourse in Kaikoura on Sunday with the Fast 10 format being run over eight races between 3.35pm and 6.00pm.

Burnham trainer Mark Jones has four runners, starting with Rosie Richer (Always B Miki) in Race Three. The nine start maiden has three minor placings on her form line and gets a tidy draw at four.

Willison (Bettor’s Delight) starts in the junior driver’s race (R5) over 1900 metres and draws the second row for Gemma Thornley.

Mayson Shard (Bettor’s Delight) draws nicely at two in Race Six and will be handled by Sam Ottley.

In Race Eight Jones lines up Poetry In Motion (Bettor’s Delight). After disappointing at Oamaru running last, she was back to the trials ten days ago and showed improvement, running second.
