After winning his first Group race with Princess Sadie on Thursday, Oamaru horseman Matty Williamson will be looking for some hometown success when he lines up six runners at the Oamaru Harness Racing Clubs meeting on Sunday.

In Race One, first start Top Draw (Sweet Lou) dons the colours. The colt is out of the one win Somebeachsomewhere mare Excellent and has had two workouts and two trials. He gets a wide draw to contend with.

Artmore (Art Major) is new to the stable and gets a good draw to work with in Race Three.

Williamson has two starters in Race Four – Axel Rose (En Solitaire) and Jordan Anne (Pegasus Spur).

Axel Rose was impressive when winning on his home track and in his second start was held up before flying home for third.

Jordan Anne was solid at her last start and starts off the 10 metre mark.  All her wins have been from the stand, two on this course.

Two year old Seeking Clarity (Ultimate Sniper) was excellent on debut, finishing off her race in style when running second to the smart Palladium at Gore. Being only one of two fillies in the race she picks up a nice draw at one.

Mr Cash Man (Shadow Play) rounds out the Williamson barn’s day in Race Six. His last win was in April but as a nine win R50 horse he gets into this race nicely. He’ll start off 20 metres and will be handled by Hayden Douglas.
