McGowans take five to Park (audio preview)

Pukekohe harness racing trainers Dave and Clare McGowan start five of their team tomorrow night (Aug. 17) at Alexandra Park.

They have two runners in Race Two and will be looking for improved runs from both.

Sea Of Love (Downbytheseaside) broke at the 400 on debut. She’ll be driven again by Taitlyn Hanara.

Keepers Tommy (Highview Tommy) was caught wide on debut and faded for seventh. Todd MacFarlane takes the reins.

Trotter Ceepeekay (Creatine) was game on debut two weeks ago finishing fourth. She draws four on the front row in the 2200 metre stand.

The consistent Wish For Fish (Love You) starts off twenty metres in the same race.

Rounding the McGowan’s night out is Liaison (Love You) in Race Seven, the main trot of the night. Over 2700 metres the six year old gelding starts from the fifteen metre mark.
