Both visiting harness racing trainer John Morrison and local Tony Stratford have strong teams entered for tomorrow’s Gore meeting on the grit.
Stratford’s second start maiden Lydah Valley (Sweet Lou), is set to stars in Race Two and she’ll be looking to improve on her first start seventh at Winton.
First starter Spectator (He’s Watching) begins Morrison’s day in the same race and has an outside draw to contend with.
In Race Four Stratford lines up first starter Vincent Prince (Vincent) who draws the inside of the second row.
Morrison has Ballygar (Gold Ace) down to start in the same race from barrier two.
In Race Six – the Cardrona Distillery Stakes, Stratford’s runner is two win The Orange Roughy (Betterthancheddar). He draws the outside of the second row.
In the Mataura Licencing Trust Gore Pacing Cup Morrison starts Jimmyray (American Ideal) who last ran at Addington over Cup Week. This is Race Ten.
Both trainers round out their day in Race Eleven.
Morrison has Harrison (Auckland Reactor) running from barrier seven.
The Stratford trained Goma Dale (Auckland Reactor) gets a second row draw.
