Purdon Racing has their harness racing team split over two islands tomorrow night with runners at both Addington and Alexandra Park.
In Auckland Mark and Nathan start their night with Midnight Miki (Always B Miki) and Rubira (Always B Miki) in the $60,000 Group Two Alabar Three Year Old Classic.
Midnight Miki, after winning his first two starts this campaign, had to settle for second at his last run behind a smart Bazooka.
The super consistent Rubira likes Alexandra Park. In two starts on the track he’s won both times. He stormed home late to win at his last start at Auckland two weeks ago.

In the $70,000 Group Two Caduceus Club Three Year Old Fillies Ladyship Stakes, the stable lines up Without You (Captain Crunch).
She was very impressive, winning by six lengths two weeks ago.
In the $40,000 Lincoln Farms Founders Cup, star pacer Chase A Dream (Captaintreacherous) returns to the racetrack after last racing in the New Zealand Derby.

Oscar Bonavena (Majestic Son) who raced at Menangle last Saturday night returns to take his place in the $40,000 Majestic Horse Floats Greenlane Cup.

In the last race on the programme at Alexandra Park Purdon Racing starts Demon Blue (Art Major). After showing outstanding form as a late two year old, his first two starts as a three year old have been below par.

The stable has six runners at Addington with Five Crowns (Bettor’s Delight) getting their southern night underway in Race Three. He was spotted pacing roughly at his last start a month ago.
The very well bred first starter Paramount Picture (Father Patrick) has been to four trials in preparation for her race night debut.
The stable has three runners in Race Six – Secret Wish, (Bettor’s Wish) Special Occasion (Captaintreacherous) and Fitzroy (Bettor’s Delight).
Secret Wish has been to three trials, winning two of them.
Special Occasion has also won two of his three trials.
Nathan regards Special Occasion as the stables best bet at Addington.
The third of the Purdon runners Fitzroy, has also been good at the trials.
Vessem (Vincent) lines up in the Autumn FFA. He was taken out of play early at Rangiora and is back to the mobile tomorrow night.
