Branxholme harness racing trainer Nathan Williamson brings a potent team to Ascot Park tomorrow for the Ascot Park Hotel Invercargill Cup Day.
Two year old colt Always Dreaming (Bettorās Delight) gets his chance to add to his winning tally in Race One in what should be winnable race for him.
Maiden three year old filly Sweet Sue (Sweet Lou) was good on debut but battled at her last start. She gets the one draw to use in Race Five.
Williamson has two runners in Race Six, the SBSR Siresā Stake Southern Solstice; Ultimate Weapon (Bettorās Delight) and Secret Agent Man (Sweet Lou).
Ultimate Weapon draws best in barrier three.
Secret Agent Man won on debut and hasnāt raced since April.
In Race Seven, the $50,000 Group Three Brendan Franks Farrier David Moss Stakes, Williamson has two runners – Flying Without Wings (Pegasus Spur) and Hidden TalentĀ (Bacardi Lindy).
Flying Without Wings has been in excellent form this spring but this race is a major step up in grade.
Thereās no doubting Hidden Talentās ability but in recent starts sheās been missing away from the standing start.
Classy filly Ruby Roe (Captaintreacherous) starts from barrier seven in the $30,000 Canada Stakes for three year old fillies. She was in sparkling form at Addington but without too much luck.
Race Ten, Group One winning filly Captains Mistress (Captaintreacherous) looks to have the wood on most of her rivals but has to run from barrier eight.
Williamson rounds out Cup Day with Miraculous (Bettorās Delight) also in Race Ten.
He has to contend with the outside of the second row draw.
