Canterbury trainer Bruce Negus takes a team of nine to the Oamaru Harness Racing meeting tomorrow.
Major Linc (Sky Major) represents the stable in Race Two. This three start maiden is resuming after last racing in June and has had no recent trials or workouts. He gets a handy draw at four.
In Race Three the stable runner is Ultimatum, (Ultimate Machete) a recent addition from Matt Purvis’s stable. He last started at Timaru in April.
The Negus stable has two runners in Race Six – Dancing Glenis (A Rocknroll Dance) and Buffy Northstains (Majestic Son).
Dancing Glenis’s form is building nicely and she won on the grass on Saturday at Orari.
Buffy Northstain’s form at her last three starts has also been good, running three seconds. She’s won six races on the grass, three of them at Oamaru.
Katherine (Shadow Play) lines up in Race Seven. Three of her nine wins have been on the grass and she gets a nice draw at one.
The Highlander (Highview Tommy) takes his place in Race Eight which is from a stand.
In Race Ten the stable has three runners – Foveaux Gambler (Betting Line), Mouton Cadet (Sir Lincoln) and Classic Linc (Sir Lincoln).
Foveaux Gambler ran third at his last start at Invercargill and draws nicely at one.

Mouton Cadet will appreciate the drop in class. His last start was at Wingatui on the grass where he ran third.
Classic Linc has won eleven races, five on the grass and two on this track.
