Otago Harness Award winners announced

The Otago Harness Awards were held earlier this evening in Oamaru and the results are here – hot off the press.

The district’s star trotter Majestic Man (Majestic Son) was once again named Otago Horse of the Year while for the first time Brad Williamson beat father Phil for the Otago Trainer of the Year title.

As expected, the awards were dominated by the Williamson family with Bev’s mare Dwindle Mist (Sundon) winning the Otago Broodmare of the Year. Dwindle Mist left Harry Stumper (Majestic Son) and Dwindle Star (Muscle Mass) in the season under review. Bev also took out the Otago Breeder of the Year award.
