The Hunter name is synonymous with the Wyndham harness racing district and Ryal Bush trainer Peter Hunter returns to his roots with four runners at the Wyndham HRC meeting tomorrow.

Hunters’ day gets underway in Race Two with Here’s Johny (Johny Rock). The two year old raced against good company in Rubira, Always Dreaming and Bettor’s Anvil in the first part of the season. He struck a wet track at Gore when resuming and broke from behind the mobile, losing all chance.

Two Year Old filly Justanothersip (Franco Ledger) also raced against the best company in her last campaign and she resumes in Race Three. She’s had two workouts and at her last start finished a close second to the promising Chicago Sky.

Emerald Abbey (Sir Lincoln) cast a shoe and locked sulky stays at her last start at Gore. She lines up in Race Four.

Hunter’s quality filly Raklou (Sweet Lou) resumes in Race Seven. She won and was placed in Group company as a two year old but has struggled to recapture that form at three. She’s had two workouts in preparation for her resumption and in the last workout she was a narrow winner over Wag Star.
