Local harness racing trainer Phil Williamson takes seven trotters to the Oamaru meeting on Sunday.
In Race Two he lines up two maiden trotters – Brother Johnson (Father Patrick) and Didnāt Di (Majestic Son).
Brother Johnson has been given plenty of time to find his feet and in two starts has been running home well after slow beginnings.
First starter Didnāt Di is out of the six win trotting mare Madison Jane. Heās had four trials for two wins and two seconds.
In Race Four Kennys Charm (Muscle Mass) represents the stable. Sheās had three trials after last starting at Waikouaiti in February.
Practical Magic (Majestic Son) is a new addition to the Williamson barn and starts in Race Seven. The four year old mare has won once in nine starts.
Three runners wear the stable colours in Race Nine – Our Pinocchio (Bacardi Lindy) Sheza Gift (Father Patrick) and Missile (Trixton).
Our Pinocchio galloped at his last start but prior to that his form was solid.
Sheza Gift has been racing better quality trotters than she faces on Sunday. Her third in the Jasmynās Gift three starts ago, was good.
Missile has won four of his fifteen starts. He last won at Invercargill in December of last year but hasnāt had a lot of starts.
