Race replays of the week – Jiggy Jog S adds another feature title

On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

USA REPLAY
Steve Wolf reported on one of the major features coming out of the Meadowlands on Saturday with the running of the $145,150 Arthur J Cutler Memorial Trot. The result of the race was all about the class animal Jiggy Jog S who calmly put away her race rivals in a strong 1:50 display. Dexter Dunn piloted the winner who now has over $2.2 million in earnings. Watch the star below.
CANADIAN REPLAY 
Nicholas Barnsdale reported on the Outlaw they all need to beat with Outlaw Sharktastic scoring another victory at Century Downs on Friday the impressive win coming up in a sound 1.55.2 over a sloppy enough track. The six-year old has won 14 of her 93 lifetime starts with earnings of $147,086 with the most recent victory.

NEW ZEALAND REPLAY 

Brad Reid covered the Group Two IRT New Zealand Sires’ Stakes Three-Year-Old Trotters Championship from Alexandra Park on Friday night. The major trotting feature going the way of progressive filly Empire City who proved too strong for her race rivals in a confident display from on the speed. Father Barry and Paramount Kiwi rounded off the top three positions.
