Remission (Betting Line) is a fourteen start maiden no more, after the three year old harness racing filly got a well-deserved win at Rangiora today.

After running four seconds in her last four starts it was Auntie Deb (Sky Major) that took second place and Remission finally got her win.
As part of her education Jameson sent the filly south to Mataura trainer Lyndon Bond.
“We just thought she had to grow up a bit, that’s why we sent her down. She had to go on the float every day from Mataura to Wyndham and that made her. She just needed to get over herself, get the sweat out on the trip and learn to relax. She had a wee break and she’s come back super this time,” Gameson said.
In today’s race driver Matty Williamson took her straight to the top, winning by a length and a quarter.
Remission was bred by Graeme Trist and is out of Here We Go Again (Mach Three) which won eleven races from Auckland to Invercargill. Her biggest pay day was in winning the G2 Ladyship Stakes at Alexandra Park in December 2011.

As a broodmare Here We Go Again is developing a great record with the promising Warrior Chief (Sweet Lou) winning for the Gameson/Trist combination at Addington on Friday night.
“He’s got that little bit of X factor and feels like a good horse. He’s always been a favourite and he’s just starting to show his true worth now. He’ll go a long way.”
Warrior Chief qualified at two and won his first start at that age.
“He missed his three year old year which was probably a blessing in disguise.”
Gameson said Warrior Chief who’s now won four races will be sent out for a spell at some stage and then will be educated on handling standing starts for some bigger assignments later in the season.
“He’s pretty sensible but they all get a little bit excited on race day.”
Another foal out of Here We Go Again is Showcase (Vincent) and she is also showing potential, having had two starts for a fourth and a fifth.
“The breed takes three or four runs to be exposed to racing to put them out of their comfort zone. I really like her and at this stage I think she’s the best out of all of them even though she’s not really living up to her potential yet. I’m not worried too much about that.”
Gameson says the relationship between himself and Trist has worked out perfectly.
“He’s been breeding for forty to fifty years. He’s a breeding buff and a book of knowledge.”
