Harness Racing stock from the Southern region continue to rake up feature races in Australia.
Last weekend Major Meister (Art Major) added the Group One $100,000 Cranbourne Cup to theĀ Group Two Bendigo Cup which he won in mid December.
Major Meister won two races in New Zealand – one for Kirstin Green and Tank Ellis, and the other for Brett Gray.
His career stats are now 58-14-6-7 for $247,995.
Breeder Tom Kilkelly retains a share in the gelding.
Last Friday night Diego, (Bettorās Delight) bred and owned by Syd and Shona Brown won the $100,000 Group Two JP Stratton Cup at Gloucester Park in West Australia.
Out of the Christian Cullen mare Sakura, Diego was developed and trained by Jonny Cox and won three races from that stable.
His record is now 76-20-10-10 for $403,759.Ā
