Self Assured wins Livamol Sprint

Former New Zealand Trotting Cup winner Self Assured added the LIvamol Sprint to his harness racing resume tonight at Alexandra Park.

Self Assured (Bettor’s Delight) won the (Listed) $50,000 1700m mobile event in trying conditions for driver Mark Purdon who also trains the 6YO gelding in partnership with Hayden Cullen.

The mile rate of 1-53.4 was good considering the wet state of the track.

Earlier today Self Assured was confirmed for “The Race” by slot-holder, sports radio network SENZ.
