Oamaru horseman Matty Williamson is bringing seven horses south for tomorrows Invercargill Harness Racing Club meeting at Ascot Park.
In Race One the stable runs three year old trotting filly Lime In A Bottle (Imperial Count). At her last start she trotted roughly early and got back. With a lap to run she got into the outside running line and was hooked out inside the last 400, but showed no dash.
Haley Robyn (Sportswriter) was a solid third at her last start after doing some work.Ā She draws nicely at barrier two in Race Three.
Sargent Best (Art Major) also draws nicely at three in Race Five. His formline suggests he could be a player in the race.
The stable has Terra Sancta (Sportswriter) in the same race. Sheās come home late in her last two starts. This will be her first start from the stand.
Williamson has two runners in Race Six ā Jordan Anne (Pegasus Spur) and Majesdix (Majestic Son).
Jordan Anne has been racing well at Addington and has won three races at Ascot Park.
Majesdix showed her true ability at her last start and was run down by Black Pat.
Last start maiden winner Sheās A Jewel (Sweet Lou) was brave at her last start. She draws barrier seven in Race Seven which is a significant step up in grade.
Of his seven runners, Williamson rates Terra Sancta as the stableās best bet.
Racing gets underway at midday on Saturday with all races televised on Trackside Two.
