With Leeston harness racing trainer Terry Chmiel heading off to Australia to become a stipendiary steward, Wyndham trainer Craig Ferguson has taken over the training of Snow Robyn (Rock N Roll Heaven) successfully producing a win from her at the Invercargill HRC meeting today (Oct. 27).

She has won two races for Chmiel – at Wyndham and at Winton, for Invercargill owners Robert and Sharon Symon. Ferguson says he’s had Snow Robyn for about four weeks.
“Terry had her up and going but he’s away to Aussie so he wanted to send her to someone who could take her through. The two races she won she won really well, and it looks like she’s improved this time in,” Ferguson said.
The Symons have also had success with American Eryetime from Ferguson’s stable. She’s won four from just seven starts.
SNOW ROBYN REPLAY
Meanwhile Ferguson says he happy with the progress of his Dominion bound trotter Smokin Bandar (Monkey Bones) who races in the South Bay Cup at Kaikoura on Monday.
“He seems very well and we’re really happy with him. He should go a good race as long as he doesn’t shy at the camper vans.”’
