Exciting pacer Cantfindabettorman reappears after a spell and looks hard to beat today at Ascot Park, as he embarks on getting some winning form on his way to competing in the next harness racing Sires Stakes Series.
A gelded son of Sweet Lou, Cantfindabettorman ran some great races during the early part of this year including running a brave third in the (Group 2) Diamond Creek Farm 2yo Classic when last at Ascot Park. That day he set the pace in front in a 1:56.7 mile rate for the 2200m distance but was run down by two very good horses in You’re So Fine and Franco Indie.

At his last racing start at Addington back in June Cantfindabettorman beat another son of Sweet Lou in Sugar Me, a very good horse with a big reputation. Sugar Me then went on to win four races, beating some tidy fields in the process.
Bettor Be A Lady (Bettor’s Delight) the dam of Cantfindabettorman has already left a good filly out of Sweet Lou in Shes No Lady, who has won in excess of $100,000 and won four races in the North Island out of the powerful Reid/McMullan stable. Cantfindabettorman was purchased at the 2020 National yearling sale by Graham Anderson for $41,000
Today he looks to have the field at his mercy with driver Matthew Williamson again taking the reins on the $1.20 favourite for the race.
