Duke Of Cornwall continued to grow in reputation when he impressively put away five older harness racing rivals in the Cardrona Distillery Two- and Three Year Old Stakes.
The Sweet Lou two year old was taken to the top by driver Matty Williamson and there he stayed, winning by a length from Tommy Waterhouse who sat parked for the entire trip.
Lester Smith (far right) and Brent Barclay talk about the win
It was the Lester Smith owned colt’s fourth win in nine starts and he looks a genuine Southern Supremacy Stakes horse.
