Steve and Amanda Telfer have three quality runners in Tuesday’s Omakau harness racing meeting, including Ohoka Connor in the Ranfurly Transport/RD Petroleum FFA.
Three year old Built For Glory (Bettor’s Delight) ran second on debut at Addington in the middle of December, beaten by Lethal Speed. He lines up in Race Three and draws the outside of the second row.
Ohoka Connor (Sunshine Beach) faces five opposition in Race Nine. This is a big drop in class for the four year old gelding after last racing in the Group One New Zealand Derby.
Steve says assuming they’re safely through Tuesday’s FFA, Ohoka Connor will head to the Group Three Northern Southland Cup at Ascot Park on 18th January.
The Telfer’s final runner at Omakau is Beach Flybye (Downbytheseaside) and he comes into Race Eleven fresh after last starting at Addington in July.
