Leading harness racing trainers Steve and Amanda Telfer have a select group of pacers down to start at the Invercargill meeting at Ascot Park tomorrow.
First starter Franco Ezra (Bettorās Delight) draws barrier two in a small field of two year olds in Race One. He led and qualified two weeks ago at Rangiora and will be driven by Tim Williams.
The Telfers have two runners in Race Four, the two year old fillies feature. Theron (Captain Crunch) has had just the one trial, running a close third at Rangiora two weeks ago.
Their second runner Music Mistress (Sweet Lou) debuted at the Wairio meeting last month running a close second to the impressive Ukraine. She draws barrier six on Friday.
In Race Eight Steve and Amanda start Sweet Diamond (Sweet Lou). The five win mare draws barrier seven over the 1700 metres and has a good record on the Ascot Park track.
