Amanda Telfer heads south on State Highway One this weekend for harness racing at Young Quinn Raceway in Wyndham.
Eleven great races have been carded with the feature the 65th Kindergarten Stakes.
Treasure Cove (Captaintreacherous) gets the Telfer day underway in Race Three.
From eight starts the maiden pacer has recorded five minor placings. In his last start at Addington two weeks ago he over raced, sat parked and battled on nicely for third behind Thor.
He draws barrier five and although the field is larger than he last faced, the task looks easier.
Audio PlayerIn the $60,000 Group Two Macca Lodge Kindergarten Stakes over 1609 metres the Telfers will present a two pronged attack with Kensington Mike (Captaintreacherous) and Sonofamistery (Sweet Lou).
Kensington Mike is a half-brother to Duchess Megxit (Sweet Lou) and Captain Commodore (Captain Crunch). He was a distant fifth at his last start and has been a bit disappointing.
Audio PlayerSonofamistery raced in the same race finishing fourth, but closer to the winner Jumal. He starts from barrier three in the six horse field on Sunday.
CC Arden (Captaintreacherous) represents the stable in the third heat of the Alabar Southern Supremacy Stakes. He’s won one of his four starts and he ran eighth after leading at his first start this campaign.

Double Jeopardy (Captaintreacherous) takes his place in the Hunter Family Handicap Pace. His recent racing has been in Auckland and all three of his wins have been from behind the mobile. This will be his second standing start.

Seaside Rose (Downbytheseaside) and her older half sister Sweet Diamond (Sweet Lou) front up in the Group Three Wyndham Champagne Stakes over 1609 metres.
Seaside Rose has done the majority of her racing in the North Island. She was brave in winning at Oamaru and at her last start ran second to Five Crowns. She draws nicely at barrier two in the mares feature.
Audio PlayerSweet Diamond blazed the gate at her last start on this course and finished third in a time of 1-52.3. This looks like a slightly tougher assignment.

Rock Or Bust (Rocknroll Hanover) resumes racing in Race Eleven. He last lined up at Addington during Cup Week and a vets examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. He’s been back to the trials for two good wins.
Audio PlayerAmanda rates Rock Or Bust as the stable’s best bet.
