Trainers Steve and Amanda Telfer and stable driver Tim Williams scored a double at the Invercargill Harness Racing meeting at Ascot Park yesterday.
The brace kicked off when BD Hall (Andover Hall) easily won the Regent Car Court Trot, beating favourite Clotilde Wainwright by two and a half lengths.

āHeās got great manners so that makes my job a lot easier. It was nice he got round in one piece again and did everything right. Heās very big and overgrown and it was good to bring him away on a trip. Once he gets home heāll probably head back to the paddock,ā Williams said.

Pacing filly Mystical (Bettorās Delight) won her maiden race in the Monica Toretto Photography Mobile Pace. She was taken back early before Williams took her to the front and she won well by a length and three quarters.

āShe was a bit weak early as a two year old. Sheās strengthened up this time, her gaitās got a lot better and I think sheās in for a pretty good campaign. Today was a nice starting point.ā
