Steve and Amanda Telfer have six starters at the Cambridge harness racing meeting tomorrow night.
The brother and sister partnership begin their run in Race Six with three year old gelding DJ Rock (Rock N Roll Heaven) and Cassius Clyde (American Ideal).
D J Rock was three quarters of a length away from beating stablemate Cyren Shard (Vincent) on the track two weeks ago and draws the best of the pair at three.
Cassius Clyde is beginning to put a good record together winning his last two starts. He draws out a bit at barrier six.
Steve added that Cassius Clyde is the stable’s best bet at Cambridge.
In the first heat of the Woodlands Stud Sires Stakes Precious Bet (Bettor’s Delight) will be driven by Alicia Harrison and Slots (Sweet Lou) by Maurice McKendry.
Precious Bet has had four starts including a last start second to race rival Le Major (Art Major). He runs from barrier four.
Slots is on debut tomorrow night, having had three workouts and a qualifying trial. At his last workout he led and held on to win by a neck.
No Added Sugar (Sweet Lou) gets a nice draw upgrade (1) in Race Eight. His deafeners were unable to be released at his last start two weeks ago and he finished ninth.
Race Nine the fillies and mares race will see Ideal Delight (Bettor’s Delight) lining up for Stonewall Stud stable. She used her gas early, over raced and dropped out at her last start.
