Tiger Tara gets offspring double at Newcastle

The Bettor’s Delight double millionaire Tiger Tara, who is standing at Medowie Lodge stud, near Newcastle (NSW), sired a winning double at the Christmas harness racing meeting at Newcastle.

The Tiger Tara Tiger Prince (1:56.3) and Tiger’s Invasion quinellaed the two-year-old race, while King Tiger earned a new speed badge of 1:52.2 in capturing his ninth win on the same card.

Tiger Tara has the splendid siring score of six winners from 12 starters from only 19 foals of racing age.

His Medowie Lodge studmate Follow The Stars continues to churn out the winners all over the country.

He was represented by the recent metropolitan winners Galaxy Warrior (Gloucester Park) and Lap Of Honour (Globe Derby Park) as well as the three-year-olds Flashing Ark (1:567), Ellucifer and Your Grace.

A former 2YO of the Year, Follow The Stars has sired 68 individual winners this season and progeny earnings of $1.37 million.

From five racing crops, he has left the winners of almost $5 million.
